The fire department Captains are the front line supervisors, who manage the Fire Suppression and Emergency Services Division. These Captains work under the supervision of the Fire Chief and Battalion Chief.
Each Captain supervises a crew or shift of 6 personnel: an Engineer (fire engine and pump operator), and four (4) firefighters.
