City of Somerton Military Recognition Program
Honor the brave men and women of Somerton and Cocopah Indian Tribe who have proudly served our nation through our Military Recognition Light Pole Banner Display. We are pleased to offer customized light pole banners featuring the names and images of local veterans and active-duty service members.
How to Participate:
Families and individuals interested in recognizing a loved one can apply to have their service member featured on a banner displayed throughout Somerton Main Street. To apply, please download the application form below and submit it with the required documentation.
Deadline for submission: October 25, 2024
Banner Display date: November 8, 2024
Cost: $70.00, Including design, production and installation
Application Process:
- Download the Military Recognition Application Form.
- Complete all required fields, including service member details and photo submission.
- Submit the application through the website or by email at marketing@somertonaz.gov.
