Every property address within the City of Somerton limits is REQUIRED to have an approved permit before placing items out for sale. This permit does NOT include community sales, food vending, car washes, or flea market sales.
Requirements to Apply
- Drivers License or Identification Card
- Yard Sale Application (English)
- Yard Sale Application (Spanish)
THE ORGANIZER OF THE SALE IS RESPONSIBLE OF PRESENTING THE APPROVED PERMIT TO THE CODE ENFORCEMENT OFFICER.
It's important to know the weather on the day of your scheduled garage sale.

(including streets, sidewalks, utility poles, and traffic signs)
✔ Signs may only be placed on private property with property owner permission
