About Code Enforcement

Why enforce codes?

Code Enforcement is vitally important to the safety and appearance of neighborhoods, ensuring compliance with the City's codes and ordinances relating to housing, overgrowth, open storage/care of premises, zoning, disabled/abandoned vehicles, minimum maintenance standards for commercial structures, and signage.

The Process

When violations are identified, the responsible parties are contacted and requested to abate the conditions. Failure to correct violations could result in a citation or a referral to the City Prosecutor's office.

Our downloadable and fillable form can be found below
